Combining business networking with dining elegance, the luncheon continued the tradition of bringing together like-minded innovators in the workplace flexibility movement to share best practices and words of encouragement.
Panel Discussion
The panelist discussion that took place in the morning exceeded expectations, garnering interest and enthusiasm from the panelists and attendees alike. Keeping with this year's theme, “Developing A Culture of Workplace Flexibility,” the panelists shared how defining, measuring and increasing flexibility within one's working environment and community can help to develop a culture of flexibility. Thank you to Anne G. Tülek, Brint Ryan, Bernie Satterwhite, and Donna Rolland for their insight and expertise.
Exhibitor/Networking
The networking and exhibiting time this year was fun and energized - folks arriving early to the luncheon spent time meeting other winners, networking, and generally having a good time. Thank you to our exhibitors for setting up an environment of excellence.
Luncheon
Elegant decor mixed with an atmosphere of excited anticipation set the scene for the luncheon. This was what everyone had been waiting for - the keynote address and presentation of awards! Thank you to Kelly Sakai of the Families and Work Institute and Lisa Horn of the Society of Human Resources Management for delivering the keynote address and reminding us why workplace flexibility is so important to the future of business.
25 companies came to the stage with gratitude and humility and accepted their awards. Congratulations!
